My name is Marcia Dudley Bellermann, born in Fitchburg, educated in the Northampton and Boston Massachusetts… Graduated from Mary A. Burnham School for Girls in Northampton, Ma, B.A. and Masters in Secondary Education from Boston University… 3 years with the U.S. Army Special Services Dept. of Army Civilian stationed in Germany… and many and diverse position until July 1975

Recently retired from the Trial Court of the Commonwealth Department of Probation after 29½ years of service working with adults ranging in age from 17 to 84 years of age… and now full time in Real Estate with Century 21 DeNault Realty in Leominster  Ma. After over a quarter of a century as a salesperson and broker… also working with Citizens on Patrol with the Fitchburg Police Dept., Fitchburg Sister Cities, the Fitchburg Rotary Club and the Christ Church Choir.

I am widowed; no children but have several pets. I have known Dr. John forever… our parents were friends and fellow parishioners of Christ Episcopal Church in Fitchburg… I believe I also baby-sat for Dr. John on one or two occasions in years past…

Having been a teacher and probation officer for many years, I have seen young people who have not had the benefit of safe sex education and the grief they and their families have had to endure after being diagnosed with HIV/AIDS… I have lost many friends to the terrible disease and want to do whatever is necessary and possible to rid the world of this terrible sickness. Education is the way to save our younger generation and with Dr. John’s work. Hopefully, we can rid the Earth of this terrible scourge.
