Our national headquarters is located in Norfolk, Virginia, home to the largest naval station in the world. A culturally diverse city of 250,000, the city ranks at the top for AIDS cases in the state (and nationally for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea). Sexually active youth are among the fastest growing groups at risk. Dr. John and his team of volunteers are the first in the US to bring HIV testing directly to young people on the streets and public venues to raise awareness and train effective peer counselors to save young lives from an avoidable danger.
