GOOD Crowd

When I walk the streets doing my "AIDS Attacks" with volunteers that translate for me, crowds gather. Because so many cultures censor the information about the sexual transmission of HIV, they have many questions. I tell them, "Now go and tell your friends."

El Oued

In Algeria, I went into the Sahara Desert to the oasis town of El Oued, surrounded by towering sand dunes and fringed by date palms and large trees nourished from underground springs. The government provided me with 24/7 police and army protection because of a recent kidnapping and beheading of a French tourist by ISIS-affiliated terrorists.

Even female university students were eager to take my AIDS prevention business cards that have the basic medical facts and my contact indormation. They are surprised that I come as a volunteer and am not paid to spread the word. I ask them to help.
